Krispy Kreme

I have a 4 year old son that enjoys food as much as I do. He is always talking about the next treat that may be coming or his favorite thing to say at any given time during the day, "If we eat all our dinner, then we'll have a tree-eat!" He has become really good at recognizing restaurant signs. I should have seen this coming...when he was 15 months old, he would point to the golden arches and say "fry-fry". The other day we're driving and he says, "That gas station is a Krispy Kreme store!" Well, I know that Levi can't read, so I turn to look and sure enough, I turn to find this tiny little Krispy Kreme sign. And again driving by Bob Evans, Levi says "That's where I get my free birthday meal". Yes, I do believe we have a "restaurant logo savant" on our hands! He cracks me up!

Rachele is the same way. She really loves when we drive by chuck e cheeses. The funny thing is she has never been there.

It's in his Jones genes. Susan observed after we got married that I always used restaurants as landmarks when giving travel directions.
See you at Bob Evans!

that's so funny! Levi and his "tre-eats." the golden arches have to be the one magical universal fry symbol for kids... "fries! mmmm. eat me." it still does that to me after all these years. and matt- he picks up on the krispy kremes anywhere too! definitely a lyon thing.
