Back to Normal Life

I thought we were back to life as we know it, but Sam started complaining of ear pain so we headed to the doctor this afternoon...another no school day! Argh. We have been reading James and the Giant Peach, though. That has been so much fun! I love Roald Dahl. He is an amazing author. The kids are spellbound. I love to read books like this!

The house looks good...you all should come see it! And then buy it:) It was a fun week getting everything ready, but I am ready to go back to normal life. The kids did not like being pretty much ignored or put to work for an entire week and I didn't like the results of that either! We were much happier today. The most fun transformation was our "food storage" room is now the school room and the dining room is now.....(fanfare please) a dining room!! :) The kids spend lots of time in the school room doing their art projects and it seems to contain the mess a bit better.

Life is good...I am happy.

PS Hit my 25 pound mark today...YAY!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry about your little guy...must be going around, we have it at our house too. Way to go on hitting your goal...are you going to try for more??? I'm just wondering, not implying you need too...
